09-10 Academic Calendar

Final Day to drop a class for Fall 09: November 2nd

Students can drop courses online until November 2nd. . .no drops allowed after this date!

Advising is mandatory for Mechanical Engineering undergraduate students. Registration holds are placed on records for all students prior to pre-registration each semester. These holds can only be removed by visiting with an undergraduate advisor (ME 140) during the scheduled advising times. The department schedules a pre-advising session for advanced registration each semester, students who do not come in during the pre-advising period may be required to wait until open registration.

NEW STUDENTS: RRO (TTU Red Raider Orientation) is mandatory for all new students. Department holds are applied to all new students and the university will not activate the student's registration until the specified orientation.

Intent to Graduate - Reminder for Juniors

Undergraduate intent to graduate forms should be filed when the student is enrolled in ME 3365 - form is available to file online here


Undergraduate students interested in the 150 Hour program for ME, should file the 150 program application (available as pdf here and also available outside ME 140) during the semester that they are enrolled in ME 3365.
