Background
I am currently a master's student studying under Dr. Javad Hashemi. All of my research is in the area of orthopaedic biomechanics (e.g., Analysis of Fixation Devices for Distal Femoral Fractures). I will soon begin work on my graduate research, which will involve the investigation of biomechanical properties and gene expression profiles of healthy and degenerated human intervertebral discs in vitro. Upon completion of my graduate studies, I will attend medical school at TTUHSC with a specialty in orthopaedic surgery being the ultimate goal.
