- Submit the Official Degree Program
- Select an Advisory Committee (thesis and PhD students only)
To Remember throughout Program
- Submit changes to Official Degree Program, as needed
- Inform the Advising Office of any changes to your program, advisor, advisory committee or expected graduation date

For Students Who Intend to Graduate in Summer 2009
- Defense Notification and Abstract - Doctoral Students: June 3
- Statement of Intention to Graduate: June 8
- Regalia - Doctoral Students: June 12
- Cap-Gown-Hood Orders: June 12
- Thesis or Dissertation Defense: June 25
- Electronic Thesis Dissertation (ETD) Document Fee: June 25
- Official Report on Final Defense: June 26
- Review Draft of Thesis/Dissertation: July 6
- Signed Thesis/Dissertation Approval Form: within 2 weeks of defense or July 6
- ETD Signature Form: within 2 weeks of defense or July 6
- Official Reports on Final Comprehensive Examinations for Master's: July 8
- Graduate in Absentia: July 10
- Grade Changes: July 10
- Final Copy of Thesis or Dissertation: July 24
- University Graduate Commencement: August 8
For Students Who Intend to Graduate in Fall 2009
